I've had this plastic cup for over 20 years - ever since Penn State won the national college football championship in 1986. It was a sad day when it finally cracked. May it rest in peace, and may there be new hope for a championship for the Nittany Lions! I'd love an excuse to get a new cup!!

Damon and I made good use of some frequent flier miles by taking a trip to San Francisco. We bused around the city together, as well as taking advantage of the lindy exchange that was going on. Many thanks to Hep Jen for her fine hospitality! :) The highlight picture to the left is of the house that was used in the movie, Pacific Heights.

Alida and Ruthie had a birthday party at our house. Antics ensued and fun was had by all.

Aaron and Casey Sue came over for some Guitar Hero and other Wii fun. We also dabbled in some karaoke. Casey Sue was AWESOME.

DJ Natch VJ'd his world famous videos swing night at UCF. This time it wasn't just an 80's night, but swingable music videos from any era were played. A totally awesome time was had by all.

Jeff, Linda and I got up at dawn to take photos of the quiet streets slowly waking to a pretty Saturday. These are the last photos from my stay in New York City. There are still so many pictures I wish I had taken...

Jeff and Linda came to visit before we left for Florida. We all went out shooting and these are what Jeff came up with.

We finally made a trip to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The pictures of our apartment building show how close we live to these two historical monuments.

We took a group tour of the United Nations.

Twice a year the sunset lines up so that it sets perfectly between the buildings along the streets of Manhattan. It is called Manhattanhenge because it resembles Stonehenge. These pictures were taken from the Tudor City bridge over 42nd Street.

It was freezing! Rainy, windy, cold, but still a good time at a party on the 21st floor of our building.

We just so happened to pick this day to go to Coney Island, which turned out to be a much better photo opportunity than we had anticipated.

I always buy the largest eggs possible so that the chances of getting double-yolks are increased. This dozen had three double-yolk eggs!

I accompanied Damon partway to the airport on his way back down to Florida, and then I spent the rest of the day in the City (Central Park, mostly) taking pictures with my new camera.

Willis moved on up from 7 Hanover Square to One World Financial Center.

We all went out to play pool in the city. So sorry about the blue pictures and the blurriness. It wasn't the beer, I swear. My little point-and-shoot doesn't do so great in low light, and it didn't help that I obviously didn't have the white balance set correctly. But it was a good time, anyway.
